EDUCATION

I completed my undergraduate coursework at Georgetown University. I went on to receive a Masters and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant. My graduate school education was immersive and comprehensive. I especially enjoyed my coursework in Health Psychology, and ultimately focused my graduate school education on the issues and struggles related to chronic and terminal illness as well as issues at end of life.

I continually work to stay current on the latest research and trends in clinical psychology. I regularly attend conferences, seminars, participate in training workshops, and I am a part of an ongoing professional consultation group. I am a member of the Next Level Practitioner Group through the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine, which gives me access to the most influential minds and cutting-edge practices in the field of psychology. Most recently, I completed an intensive six-month certificate program in couples therapy through The Couples Institute.

Since 2019 I’ve studied the ways in which Ketamine can enhance and deepen the therapeutic process. This, along with Psychedelic Integration (the therapeutic processing of consciousness expanding experiences) is my current professional passion. CLINICAL BACKGROUND

I’ve been practicing psychotherapy for over a decade. I am licensed as a Clinical Psychologist by the California State Board of Psychology (lic. # PSY24570). I see clients in my private practice located in Redondo Beach, CA.

I have also served as a supervisor to a number of therapists beginning their careers in psychology. In this capacity, I meet regularly with new therapists to review client cases and facilitate the therapists’ growth and development as effective mental health practitioners.

I previously provided therapeutic services to clients at Southern California Counseling Center and The Saturday Center for Psychotherapy. In these locations I worked with an incredibly diverse range of clients including children, teens, adults, couples, and families. My experience at AIDS Project Los Angeles allowed me to cultivate my skills in treating mental health struggles related to chronic illness, sexual identity, and substance abuse disorders.

I am a member of various professional organizations including the American Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association, and the Los Angeles County Psychological Association.

LIFE EXPERIENCE

I’ve received some of my deepest learnings through my experience of being a mom to two awesome kids and a partner in a long-term, committed relationship. I grew up in the South Bay, and I feel a soul connection and commitment to this community. I love walking the trails in Palos Verdes, reading, and drinking tea!
