Adult individuals
In individual therapy I help my clients explore and understand their core beliefs, feelings, behaviors, and interpersonal interactions. Understanding issues as they come up in the session, as well as in your outside life, leads to deeper self-awareness and more authentic and integrated ways of being. I work with clients to gain greater insight into their authentic selves and true needs and wants so they can move their life in a direction that best serves them. For some clients, incorporating Ketamine can be a powerful adjunctive to our talk therapy. This is an option we can discuss in our initial consultation.
I work with adult individuals on a variety of issues including:
• Depression, Sadness, and Loneliness
• Anxiety, Fear, and Stress
• Self-Esteem
• Family Difficulties
• Relationship Issues
• Marital Difficulties (Pre-Marital, Separation, Divorce)
• Trauma
• Loss and Grief
• Chronic or Terminal Illness
• Life Transitions and Personal Growth
Couples
Romantic relationships can offer intimacy, connection, support and security. Yet too often, problems keep partners from enjoying the unique and invaluable benefits of a love relationship. All couples experience conflict, but how they deal with the conflict is an essential aspect of the health of the relationship. Therapy can open up a safe and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts, feelings, and misunderstandings in a way that facilitates growth and connection.
I work with couples on a variety of issues including:
• Conflict or Tension
• Difficulty Communicating
• Intimacy and Sexuality Issues
• Family Distress
• Distrust or Infidelity
• Pre-Marital Concerns
• Transition Through Separation or Divorce
• Parenting and Blended Families
Psychedelic Integration
While I do not supply, administer, or advocate for the use of controlled or illegal substances, the reality is that more and more people are choosing to embark on a path of self-exploration and healing through the use of plant medicines (such as ayahuasca/DMT and psilocybin mushrooms) and chemical allies (such as MDMA, LSD, and Ketamine).
I am here to support those who have come to their own decision to engage in consciousness expansion using psychedelic substances. While the substances above can catalyze change, it is still up to the individual to do the work on the other side of a medicine journey. These medicines can throw open doors leading to healing and transformation, but we have to walk the path, step by step, to achieve the possibilities revealed in a medicine journey.
Here is where the work of Psychedelic Integration comes in. Psychedelic Integration occurs in the weeks, months, and sometimes years after a psychedelic experience. Because every medicine journey is different, so too is each individual’s integration experience. While psychedelic experiences, in and of themselves, can be transformative, often it is through active engagement in post-journey Psychedelic Integration that the most significant healing and evolution occur. Psychedelic Integration can involve:
- Creating meaning around new, expanded understandings of Self, the World, and All That Is
- Distilling downloads into workable, day to day practices to integrate the extraordinary into the ordinary
- Processing emotions, traumatic memories, energies, and experiences revealed in the medicine work
- Transforming a “bad trip” into that of a challenging, growth-inducing trip that has full potential to elicit deep, meaningful healing
- Practicing embodiment of that which was received
- Connecting to tools such as meditation, journaling, breathwork, or bodywork that keep alive the medicine learnings and activations
Through intentional Psychedelic Integration, we can ensure that the benefits of a psychedelic journey root into one’s daily life rather than fade away into a memory of an interesting experience. I am here to support the process of integration, the making whole of the experience and one’s Self.
